Cermaq to temporarily stop using ASC label

Cermaq will temporarily stop using Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) labels on fish produced from some of its British Columbia, Canada, farms at the behest of an environmental group due to a sea lice outbreak, the Star Vancouver reported. 

The Norwegian salmon farmer said at it would temporarily drop use of the ASC label at several fish farms in Clayoquot Sound, a move that comes after the elevated sea lice levels and concerns raised by the nonprofit environmental group SeaChoice..........................................................
