Kingfish aquaculture project survives two tsunamis

EcoSea Farming, a manufacturer of offshore copper alloy aquaculture containment systems, has successfully concluded its first cultivation of yellowtail amberjack, or kingfish, for noncommercial purposes on the northern coasts of Chile, reports Aqua, an aquaculture industry news service.

The project took four years, was handled in two stages, and survived two earthquake-induced tsunamis, according to Aqua.
