Mowi unable to improve average global sea lice situation

Mowi, the world's largest salmon farmer, has revealed in its annual report that measures taken to reduce sea lice levels across its many farms in 2018 ultimately failed to yield results, with average global lice levels remaining unchanged from the previous year.

According to the report, 9% of Mowi farms operated with lice levels above national trigger limits at some stage during 2018.

While the previous two years had seen this value fall from 12 to 9%, the megafirm made no further...................................................................
