Red tape makes growth goal unattainable


One of Scotland’s largest salmon producers is pushing for an eight-fold increase on its sales to the United States, but its top executive says red tape is in the way, the Sunday Herald, a Glasgow-based newspaper, reports. 

The Scottish Salmon Company, which is listed as being in Oslo, Norway, but maintains headquarters in Edinburgh, has identified the US as its major focus for exports in 2017.

It wants to sell more than £8 million ($11m) worth of its native Hebridean salmon and...........................
