Researchers manage to grow white snook in captivity

The National Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture (INAPESCA) and the Mazatlan Food and Development Research Center (CIAD Mazatlan) have achieved the reproduction of white snook or robalo (Centropomus viridis) under captive conditions.

Researchers cultivated the species with a survival greater than 60%, that is, they achieved more than 120,000 fry in the first generation, which represents an achievement that evolves the reproductive schemes in aquaculture.
