Shrimp sector can emulate poultry with ‘fifth-generation’ farms

McIntosh:

Shrimp farming can emulate the poultry sector but only if producers invest in “fifth-generation” farms, said Robins McIntosh, executive vice president at Charoen Pokphand Foods.

Delivering Infofish’s keynote speech, McIntosh said the shrimp sector has made significant strides in genetic improvements and feed conversion rates.
