Tri-way Industries branches into two new fish species



at shrimp ‘mega farm’

Tri-way Industries is growing two new fish species at its shrimp 'mega farm' in Guangdong Province, South China, according to a press release by the firm's biggest shareholder Sino Agro Food. 

Tri-way Industries -- which was established in March this year by US-listed Sino Agro after the latter spun off the mega farm into a separate unit -- is now farming pearl grouper, a tropical marine species, and empurau, a fish native to Malaysia.

According to the firm, Tri-way intends to exploit pearl grouper's fast growth-rates to cash in on........................
